Digital Stories for Seniors' Intercultural Learning
Welcome to the PLAY Project website, where we share inspiring Digital Stories created by seniors from Portugal, Italy, and France. Through this project, we celebrate intercultural learning, diversity, and European identity, using Digital Storytelling as a tool for social inclusion.
Explore a rich collection of videos across four themes: Historical cultural sites and natural landscapes, Local, Religious, and Family Traditions, Traditional food and cooking, and Music. Join us in preserving and sharing the unique stories, traditions, and experiences that shape our collective European heritage.

THE PROJECT
PLAY is an Erasmus+ Small-scale Partnership in Adult Education that aims to develop an educational methodology for Senior Population, using Digital Storytelling as a tool to tackle intercultural learning, diversity and European Identity, and promoting their social inclusion.
The objectives of the project are:
1) Improving the competences of adult educators, by engaging in innovative teaching methods and using digital technologies to provide high-quality learning opportunities for senior citizens;
2) To allow senior population to explore diversity and develop intercultural competences, by encouraging seniors to explore new perspectives and learn about other cultures and Europe;
3) To promote European Cultural Heritage and European Identity among seniors, by using a methodology that will allow them to connect their personal life stories and memories to Cultural Heritage and share them in a European setting with seniors from other countries;
4) To promote Lifelong Learning contributing to Active Ageing and Social Inclusion, by engaging seniors in an educational opportunity with peers from their community and from Europe;
5) To promote Intergenerational Learning, by appealing to volunteers from younger generations to support the digital component.
